What does “recycling a car” actually involve?
Vehicle recycling usually refers to work after a vehicle reaches a dismantler or processor: usable components may be assessed, fluids and other materials handled, and recoverable materials separated. The details depend on the receiving business and the vehicle. A company that buys and picks up whole vehicles is not necessarily a public scrap yard, a parts retailer or the facility that performs those later steps.
