Towing and pickup planning
Towing is included when Junk Car Bin agrees to purchase a vehicle and confirms the pickup arrangement. It is not a stand-alone free towing service, and submitting a quote request does not guarantee acceptance, price, timing or same-day collection.
What to confirm before pickup
- The vehicle-specific offer and whether towing is included.
- The exact pickup address and where the vehicle is parked.
- Whether the tow vehicle can reach, turn and load safely.
- Ownership, lien status, keys, wheels and any missing parts.
Why “free towing” needs context
Vehicle-removal advertising often treats towing as if it were independent from the transaction. In practice, collection has equipment, distance, access and scheduling requirements. Junk Car Bin includes towing for vehicles it agrees to purchase under the confirmed offer and pickup conditions. That distinction lets an owner compare the complete offer rather than assuming a separate service has already been booked.
Before accepting, ask whether the quoted amount is the amount payable at collection, what information could change it and whether any disclosed access issue affects the arrangement. If a condition was not discussed—such as missing wheels or a vehicle below grade—raise it before dispatch.
Pickup details that matter in Windsor
Driveway or street position
State whether the vehicle faces in or out, whether another vehicle blocks it and whether municipal parking conditions affect access.
Garage or underground level
Provide door height, ramp slope, clearance and whether the vehicle can roll. Standard towing equipment may not fit every enclosed location.
Repair shop or business lot
Confirm the shop or property manager authorizes collection and explain loading-zone or operating-hour restrictions.
Soft ground or incomplete vehicle
Report gravel, mud, grass, locked steering, flat tires, missing wheels and removed parts so suitable equipment can be considered.
Information needed for a reliable review
Prepare the year, make, model, approximate mileage and a straightforward description of the vehicle’s condition. Note collision damage, major mechanical problems, fire or flood exposure and missing components. Photos can help when the condition or access is difficult to describe, but they do not replace final verification at collection.
The seller must be authorized to transfer the vehicle. Explain whether it is paid off and free of liens and ask what ownership documents are required for the specific transaction. Do not wait until the tow vehicle arrives to disclose an ownership or access problem.
How scheduling works
Availability varies with location, equipment, route planning and the information supplied. Same-day pickup may sometimes be available, but it should not be treated as a guarantee. A pickup is scheduled only after the vehicle is accepted, the offer terms are understood and the collection details are confirmed.
If the vehicle’s condition or location changes after scheduling, contact the service team before dispatch. A newly blocked driveway, removed wheel or inaccessible key can affect safe loading.
Questions worth asking before you agree
- Is towing included with this accepted purchase?
- What vehicle details were used to prepare the offer?
- What documents and seller identification are required?
- Has the exact parking position and access route been reviewed?
- Is the appointment confirmed, and what should happen if conditions change?
